This section of the portal will provide an overview of the types of products and services offered by customRS.
As currently envisioned, customRS has two primary product and service offerings: Data Assessments and Data Analysis
(Standard Data Products, Custom Data Products, and Advanced Data Analysis Services). In this section, each of these
will be described in detail to provide the client with an understanding of what the product and service offering contains,
when a user might require each, and how they would order. Among other things, this section will provide an explanation of:
- The systems engineering approach of Evaluation, Verification & Validation and Benchmarking and how
these are conducted through Data Assessment Services
- The available data products with a detailed description of each underlying dataset, its source, and any subsequent processing by GDA
- The difference between a standard data product and a customized data product Data Acquisition Request (DAR)
- The difference among One-Time Orders, Standing Orders, and Conditional Alert Orders
- Levels of data processing provided and the type of data returned by each level
- Delivery mechanisms and the various formats in which the data can be delivered to the user
(e.g., ASCII text files, GIS image formats, JPGS, comparison graphs/plots, management reports, etc.)
- Data Analysis Services and the type of analyses performed
